Campaign rent for a defined period
A “three-year campaign rent” tag means that rent applies for three years. UR's current general campaign wording covers three or five years depending on the home. Compare the current and later rent on the official room detail.
Rent changes after the campaign
A three-year plan moves to the year-four-and-later rent, while a five-year plan moves to the year-six-and-later rent. You may also need to pay the difference between the deposit held under campaign rent and the deposit based on the later rent.
Homes and application dates are limited
The offer does not cover every UR home and may have limited inventory and dates. Ask UR about combination with another discount and the exact transition date and amount.
Frequently asked questions
Does the same rent continue after the campaign?
No. UR says a three-year plan changes in year four and a five-year plan changes in year six.
Is the original deposit always final?
Not necessarily. If the deposit based on later rent is higher, the difference may be payable at transition.
